My wife and I purchased the LiveWave split king and love it. The dual wireless controllers allow us each to position our side of the bed as desired. Plus, they are quiet enough to adjust while the other is sleeping without disturbing them. We are in our 30s, but wish we had made this investment in our 20s. Seriously, it's awesome!
Delivery exceeded my expectations as our unit shipped early and the delivery company setup everything.

This is our primary bed and we got it because we both have back problems. Mine were so bad I was sleeping on a pillow that elevated my head, feet, and knees while taking the all the stress off my back. (It was a 3-piece wedge system where the three cushions can be zippered together, removed and used in different combinations). This worked well for over a year but I had to hassle with pillows for under my arms because the head wedge made it too high for your arms to touch the bed comfortably. Pillows would fall off the bed during the night and I was overcrowding my spouse in the bed. In other words, the product worked but it was a pain in the neck to deal with.
I knew that once my spouse started having hip and back pain that the time had come to go to an adjustable bed. I went to many mattress stores and checked around. There wasn't another bed system within $300.00 for the features of this bed - and Astrabeds included a free sheet set and matress cover!
The only thing I wish were better would be the "wave" action of the massage. I find it better to just turn on the head and feet massage up to high at the same time and let it go until it times out.
I like the adjustability of the bed. It has a "Zero Gravity" button that puts you in the same basic position that the pillow did but because you are on the bed and not a pillow, you don't have to worry about your arms and the extra pillows.
Bottom line is that I am satisfied with this frame and hope that the mechanics of it hold up for many years.

I bought my bed after visiting a store that sold Tempur-Pedic with a price of more than double. With my Astra beds purchase I got everything I loved. A motorized bed with the massage option, and a good mattress. The Venus was harder than I'd like but adding a softer topper took care of everything. If you shop around you can't go wrong with the deals at Astra beds. I'm very pleased.

We should have bought this sooner. My husband and I really looked for a good bed. After shopping all over the area, we looked on line. When we found the astro beds site we were very nervous to buy a bed online. [...]Also, We are tall people and we were able to buy leg extenions to raise the bed up. Now the bed is perfect!
