I am still trying out my new purchase but wanted to write a review about customer service. after having some difficulty with putting 2 mattresses on my credit card due to a daily limit I set on it I had to put in two orders on 2 different days, there were some issues with the order and when I brought it to The attn of the astrabed staff (Rodrigo), all he said was, "we will make it right" and they did. Instead of my beds arriving separately without the white glove delivery, they both arrived with white glove delivery. Thanks for making it right Rodrigo, great customer service!

This is my primary bed that I use nightly. This is the first mattress I purchased after using a mattress from my parents house when I moved out. This mattress is very very comfortable and supportive. I've waken up with back pain for years and it was immediately gone with this mattress. I'm very picky about mattresses, so I tried to find the best. Although expensive, if I can wake up with out pain, sleep cool in the summer, and the other benefits of being organic...well worth it to me.

Comments:

This bed was purchased to replace a sleep number bed which was the worst bed we ever owned. The service person on the phone was fantastic each time I called during the ordering process which included changing the size of the mattress, the choosing of the correct one for our needs, and the promotions going on at the time of ordering. It arrived when it was supposed to and in a box that was about 2 feet by 2 feet by 4 feet. My suggestion would be to bring it up, in the shipping box to the bedroom. Do not take it out first since it is compressed and will expand very quickly to the size of the bed and be harder to transport. We have had it for about 3 weeks now and our backs both feel better already. The real test will probably take about 6-12 months but so far it is great.

This is an amazing mattress which is soft yet gives very good support. I had a memory foam mattress before this and it quickly lost its support. Its been less than a month since I got the serenity mattress but looks like this one is going to last for a long time.

My husband and I love our new mattress! He used to toss and turn all night but that is no longer the case. My back and neck feel so much better. We had been searching and were concerned about ordering online but the reviews were very convincing. It arrived within 10 days and after sleeping on it for over a month now we feel we made the right choice.

Comments:

I was looking for a mattress that was made from latex foam (from a rubber tree). I found that astrabeds got great reviews, so I took a chance and ordered one. I liked how not only was the mattress 100% latex! bug it had no glue either in between layers. When it arrived, it came in 2 boxes and we had to carefully cut the plastic covering to release the mattress layers. We carried them into the bedroom and having had many mattresses of all different kinds, I've had some experience doing that. Unfortunately, the corner of one of the mattresses ripped(the 6"). Once you stack the others on top and zip them up it's not a huge deal, but my heart sunk when it happened. I just spent almost $3,000 on a mattress and it can rip that easily ? I was pretty disappointed. I know I could have gotten white glove service, but I read every review on here before ordering and no one seemed to have the need for it. I'm Pretty handy and knew I'd have help, so I opted out of that. It didn't come with any warning about how delicate it would be and you have to line up all of the layers to be in the same spot in order to zip them... It very nerve wracking when you know how easily they can rip because the layers have a tendency to stick to each other. As far as comfort,it's good. I'm comfortable. Before this, I had a high quality memory foam before so comfort was not my issue as much as chemicals. This is free of flame retardants, so I'm happy with the effort they put into the safety of consumers. Overall, I think this is a great product. I just really wish it would have come with something in place to stop it from ripping when carried into the bedroom or at least a writen warning of how delicate it is because that's very different from other mattresses. They offered a free pillow if I wrote this review and that's why I'm doing it. I never write reviews, but this is 100% honest.

I shopped for months for a king bed. Couldn't decide since I wanted comfort soft but firm for my bad back. I ordered the softest level bed and it is heaven. It supports you in a firm way but is soft to sleep on. $2700 was a lot of money for four pieces if foam but I haven't ever slept better so worth the price.

Comments:

This was a replacement for an innerspring mattress, which was about 15yo. It was in fine shape, but I started developing hip pain, since I like to sleep on the side. It was time for a replacement and I spent few days researching options. The latex matress seemed to be the way to go. I would not want kids to poke a hole in an air or water bed, innerspring served well, but I felt this time around there were better products on the market. The choice therefore was memory foam or latex. Comparing their pros and cons, I felt latex was a better choice. I also have memory foam pillow and know how it stinks the first few weeks with these chemical odors. The natural materials here were a big plus in the decision. I actually smelled the latex when it came, it has a nice sweet smell, nothing like the memory foam. The biggest problem is how to choose the firmness level with latex mattress being a rarity in stores. Also, the firmness levels vary, so what you test in the store may not be the same thing you buy online. I assumed that Medium firmness would work well for us and went ahead with the order. My wife said she would not want a soft mattress. Overall, I can say that the quality of sleep improved for us and I wake up well rested (in the 3 weeks since it arrived), a noticable change from the innerspring. I have not had a hip pain yet, but somehow sleeping on the side I still feel the mattress is a bit hard and its not a comfortable position. Sleeping on the back is another matter. I am wondering if HarmonyBed would have been a better choice, since it comes with softer upper layers, but no easy way to tell. You might have to sleep few weeks on each to be able to figure out what is better. One concern for this mattress is that it's missing side rope handles like my old innerspring. When we bought new bedroom set and I had to move this matress alone to the new bed, this was a very exhausting task. There's no easy way to grab the mattress and it keeps slipping away from you.…

The first few nights on the mattress felt like sleeping on the floor. It is a very firm mattress, so if you like any give at all this may be the best fit. However, we added a memory foam mattress topper and it made a huge difference! I like the support of the firm mattress and the fact that the bed doesn't move or shake when my partner moves around, but it needed the memory foam to be comfortable.

My wife and I put a king size HarmonyBed in our own bedroom about two weeks ago and so far we love it. The support is great and our bodies feel rejuvenated each morning when we wake up. We both tend to get warm when we sleep and were a little worried about the mattress trapping heat like a memory foam mattress can. The HarmonyBed does not seem to have that issue at all. Another nice benefit is that motion is pretty well-isolated. When I roll over or get out of bed in the middle of the night I don't seem to disturb my wife as often as when we used to sleep on an innerspring mattress. We are both smaller people, my wife being 5'5" and 120 lbs, while I am 5'7" and 160 lbs. We both sleep predominantly on our sides and we ordered the Soft firmness and we feel great on it.

I love my new bed! However, have only had it a couple of weeks, so I don't know how it will hold up. My dealings with The Astra Bed people were great. Everyone I dealt with was very helpful. I had an issue because I ordered (and paid) for two rather than one foundation for a king size bed. The matter was resolved quickly to my satisfaction. The delivery company did not know how to set up the bed , but i was able to guide them through,as I had watched the video. I did a lot of research before I decided on mine. It is just right as far as the softness and support. I hope it holds up for many, many years!

We were a little apprehensive about ordering a bed on-line but I am so glad we did. I was waking up several times every night with hip and back pain. Since we bought the adjustable bed with the serenity mattress we have not had one sleepless night. Thank you so much. We are very pleased with our purchase.
