Comments:

I bought this mattress based on its reviews and the pros over tempurpedic regarding temperature and odor retention. I am exceedingly happy with it after 2 months. It is, however, very high off the ground... higher than my hip. I need a hop to get on it, and my dog, for better or worse, can't jump that high.

Comments:

I bought this mattress after sleeping on a memory foam bed for the past 5 years. And the fact that this bed doesn't trap heat like memory foam is great. The support is good the soft top layer at first feel like you're young to sink in but once layer down it no longer feels too soft. Its perfect. The layers are not glued with is great for adjusting the firmness, flipping the layers. But on the edges need to make sure they like up or you might have a slight overhang. Also the mattress is much heavier than traditional or even memory foam so setting up the layers will require a few people. Overall an amazing bed and we'll worth it next time I will definitely buy again.

My wife and I had one before getting a divorce, It had eliminated our back and shoulder pains. At the divorce I started sleeping on another mattress, all the pains came back. 2-3 weeks after purchasing another one of these all the pain was gone again!

Comments:

I've had my Harmony Astrabed for almost a year now. I can't say that it is any more comforatable than the coil spring mattress I replaced, I still toss and turn to find a comfortable position and still wake up with sore shoulders. Frankly a foam topper on a traditional coil/boxspring bed would be about the same. Intially I got a medium top foam layer but it was too hard so replaced it with the soft top layer which helped a bit. Curiously the bed feels both too hard and too soft at the same time. Maybe it's just hard to sleep like a baby once you are in your 60's and the is no magic bed to create a perfect sleep environment.

This bed is GREAT! I love everything about it. Definitely recommend to those with bursitis or other chronic pain issues, but all will love it. The only challenge is moving the bed once it has been unrolled - it is quite heavy and does not have a solid shape like a regular foam mattress so hard to get a good grip. Completely worth every penny!

Comments:

I did what I consider to be lots of research after trying some memory foam beds and the sleep number beds at the local home show. I think the best attributes of the bed are that you get great support, with no pressure points, and you don't sink into it so much that it's difficult to move around if you want to. I bought this for my daughter, but everybody ends up sleeping in it at some point since she still always likes a companion. Whether it's mom, dad, grandma or grandpa everyone agrees. I noticed alot of people complaining about it being too soft so I went for the medium. Great mattress, very happy I took the leap of faith and ordered this mattress online.

We both find that we need to purchase pillows that are chunkier, thicker as we both have neck aches using relatively flatter pillows. The latex one offered by Astrabeds looks unacceptable to me. I prefer a down type pillow

I have taken delivery of base & mattress. Substantial setup delay caused by waiting for improved mattress cooler water system to become available which I understand will be sometime in July. I'm willing to wait for the improved product. So far everything has been fine. Thank you for the free pillow.

Comments:

The instant we got the bed setup, my husband and I lied on it and it felt like heaven! Contours your body in a soft yet firm way. We were hesitant on buying a bed without lying on it first however, we believe it was a great buy. The only bad parts were setting up the bed. The latex comes rolled up and once we unrolled and opened the plastic, we had all these powder falling on to our clothes and the floor. Had to take it out and open the rest of the package. It's a big bed and we are just moving into our Apt, so have not gotten around to adding our bed frame. A little lower than expected so we decided to add frame and a headboard soon.

The bed comes in two boxes and they are heavy so make sure you have some strong people to help you with the set up. I didn't bother with the white glove, it was pretty easy to assemble. At first the mattress seemed very firm but once your body adjusts, it becomes more comfortable. We bought the top of the line and its nice to know we wont need another mattress for 25 years:-)

My husband had back surgery before we were married. We have been married over 4 years now. He has always had to sleep in a recliner due to the pain of sleeping in the bed from his back. Ever since I bought the split queen adjustable, we have slept in the bed together every night and he has no pain in the mornings.

Comments:

I was disappointed that the bed did not come with a box spring. I was unclear on that when I ordered it. I paid EXTRA for white glove service (which is a must as it is too heavy for anyone to lift), but had no idea it did not come with a box spring. So the people had to put it in my room and I had to then run out and buy a box spring. My husband and I then STRUGGLED to get the mattress on the bed. It was a waste of white glove service!! SO I felt I lost $100 for nothing. As for the mattress itself, it hard at first and I was not sure I was going to like it (still may buy an egg crate for on top) but I woke up the next day with NO back pain...that is huge! I have not had that in 4 years!

This bed is amazing. Just as advertised. We bought the queen size solace, I added the 3" latex top accessary and the foundation. Both of which I'm very glad we went ahead and paid for because our bed feels complete. The deep pocket sheets fit very well. I would have deeply regretted it if I didn't get the white glove delivery option. The two men that came knew exactly what they were doing and had it set up in minutes and took away all the trash. It would have taken me forever to get out of the big, heavy boxes and set up. Pay for that service! I had researched different beds for roughly one month before buying this one and so happy I paid the extra money for what was best for us!!!

Comments:

After much research we decided to replace our king bedroom set which was way past its prime. I chose latex for many reasons, but "natural" and "organic" appealed to me. I relied on the thorough information and reviews to make my choice of company and softness. After confirming that I made the right choice with a rep during an online chat, I placed my order. I also ordered the frame. Both items came together in about 8 days. Because I read info and reviews I knew it would be heavy so I made sure my husband and sons were home to help. The frame was easy to assemble, as was the mattress. We have been sleeping on it for about a month now and WE LOVE IT!!! My quality of sleep is so much better and I wake up now without the lower back pain I had every single morning! My husband, who hates to admit I am right, loves it too. It provides excellent support but the top layer softly surrounds you. I move around a lot during the night, and when I do it bounces back quickly and adjusts to my shape. We are both very pleased with our purchase.
